There is nothing better in this world than to experience the unconditional love of God within our families that holds us all together. This love that God wants us to have in our homes is the same love that we are to have in the overall body of Christ within the church and our nation. In 1 Corinthians 13 we learn the real meaning of love and if we find ourselves struggling in our relationships with others then we should first look within ourselves before we speak to insure that we are not the ones with the real issue at hand.
”Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the Truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
We all have issues within the family at times and those relatives that we try to hide from when we see them coming. But when we learn to love each other for who we are in Christ without a division in the family of God is when we will grow to appreciate each other for the roll that we carry…amen
