Being loved is the most powerful motivation in the world! Our ability to love is often shaped by our experience of love and it is important to recognize that our children are a reflection of our works. It is vital that we lead by example in our homes to teach our children the fruit of the spirit which produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
Our actions plant seeds in our children and if we are not teaching them how to act in love then how can we honestly expect them to maintain their future love? One of the most important lessons that we can teach our children is how to communicate in love without acting out in our emotions and causing us to mislead our children. I challenge you to be alert in your actions to insure the right seeds that are being planted for your children’s future…amen
