Always Look Up…

October 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

We all have mountains to climb and mountains to overcome. Within the climb of these mountains it is very wise to know every step that is taken and that we are fastened to the rock of salvation. For mountains move when we learn how to follow Jesus and listen for the inner voice of God that directs the Way. During your walk you will experience many obstacles and hindrances from time to time some directly of Satan and through others who simply lack understanding.

For the mountain of God has many different stages and once we get to the place where God wants us to be then we are to help encourage others along the Way. There is a place and specific purpose for each one of us in the climb. Unfortunately you might witness some on the mountain that have capped their mountain due to the extra effort that is required to continue on. While there are others that simply forget how to keep their eyes uplifted to Heaven and they freeze up because their eyes are too focused on the ground and the what if’s if they slip and fall. So what if we fall and get bruised up in our climb! Does this ever mean for us to not get up and try again? Absolutely not!!! We just learn from our past in order to climb higher than before. The mountain of God is the most awesome mountain to ever encounter for there is no limits nor heights that can be reached as we learn to climb in the discipline of God as we balance ourselves with the cross. For His ways are much higher than our ways and the longer we keep our eyes on the ground the more we miss of Him along the Way….

Disciple For The Future…

October 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Empowering leadership is a critical stage of maturity and learning how to build within the instruction of God. This is one of the most neglected areas in leadership due to several reasons. Some leaders simply become consumed with their responsibilties and they fail to balance their time in recognizing the next one to fill their shoes. While some leaders simply allow their own pride to grow out of control so they never learn the art of true leadership which is called sacrifice in giving up something for someone else. Then there are those that have the title but know nothing about true leadership as a servant for the people due to their own personal desire of power and allowing their position to take presidence as an idol before God.

In Exodus 18 we are taught true leadership skills and we learn how to apply them to our lives by empowering future leaders of today. Moses not only gave certain delegates authority but he allowed them to make decisions in the best interest of the people. These leaders under Moses not only seeked God for their direction but they taught us the importance of Godly council and they assumed responsibility for their actions.

Where the disconnect has taken place in todays time is where many men have forgotten to how stand togther in the unity of God with accountability between one another. Instead of taking responsibility for our actions or standing with each other many individuals have forgotten about what it means to be loyal to God in properly serving each other. For where there is no honor within our word there is no stability within our foundation.

Learning to empower future leaders by giving them the responsibility to make decisions not only displays our maturity in Christ but it teaches the upcoming generation how to build upon the foundation which has already been established. Too many times we cause our foundation to crack simply because we forget the real reason that we are here and what holds us all together.

As a leader where ever we are it is vital that we open up our eyes to the next generation and learn to train our future leaders as we learn to walk beside them and be behind them as they learn to walk on their own. For if all we do is hold their hands and not allow them to learn for themselves under God then how can we honestly expect them to ever stand on their own when we have to move on?

We all have a responsibility under God as leaders and it starts first within ourselves and within our very home. We have a responsibility under God as parents to set good examples in faith with our children and teach them how to make Godly decisions without allowing the world to guide their actions. Unless we teach this in our very homes then how can we honestly expect them to empower the future leaders of tomorrow? Leadership is not only about making good decisions but is about training the next generation…

Life Is A Journey…

October 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Life is a journey that can be compared to an explorer in a dark cave. When we are born this takes place in a cavern, and as we mature there comes a point that we must begin to walk in the darkness of this world. Sometimes our journey will bring laughter, and sometimes our journeys can bring pains. But all that really matters is that we continue to be faithful in our walk while always seeking the light of Jesus Christ in the darkness of this world to keep the enemy from driving us insane.

Sometimes in our journey we are able to walk and other times we might have to crawl. But all that really matters is that we always listen to hear  God’s call. There will be people that will try to misguide us and there will be others who simply just want to hold us back. But there comes a point that we must learn to follow God instead of man and then He will deliver us from the curses on this land.

There will be times in our journey when we may barely squeeze through and other times that we may even want to give up when we feel the load is too much to bear. This is where we must learn to never quit no matter how tight things may be because the Lord can lift the load and even set us free.

There will be times when we are trying to climb out of the darkness that we will need help because we all fall weak at times no matter how independent we may think we are. God puts us here to help one another in this darkness to see how we would serve in helping others along the Way but so many times in our journey of the flesh we fall to a selfish mode of survival and become complacent to the point that we forget how to truly climb.

Many of us try to climb on our own at times when we don’t understand God’s purpose in having order and discipline within the body to reach higher levels in this life through the love of Jesus Christ. This is why it is vital to know God’s Word which is our foundation because if we don’t know where we stand then it is easy to fall.

There must be a time that we learn how to respect our differences and learn to work together rather than against one another. We are all here to help uplift each other whether we are on the top or even on the bottom. God allows us to go through different trials in our life to help others along the Way and to help keep our lives in Balance so we will never forget who we truly are. For no person is any different than the next under God and we all serve a vital purpose in God’s kingdom…amen

Rise Above The Fog…

October 3, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is so easy in life to become distracted in our relationships and in our jobs because we tend to focus on what we see rather than focusing on our daily objectives to help reach the overall goal.  Ever since I began to apply this word of truth to my daily walk it has been amazing to see what can take place when we look ahead instead of becoming stuck where we are. Here is a word which I received in the spirit as I was meditating with the Lord ias I was doing my work…

Don’t think about it just do it!  When we think about it,  it is easy to dread it. But if we don’t know it, take a step back to learn it!  Then once we have learned it, step up and do it while striving to do better everyday that God provides.

When we stop to think about our situations when we already know what to do, after seeking God’s direction, then we often allow Satan to enter into our minds because he wants to detour us from what God has directed. It is when we quit trying to grow that our lives become stagnant and depressed. When we commit ourselves to follow God’s Word then He will provide what we need to succeed…amen

An Inner Spring of Love…

September 23, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Love is like water in a pond and if we are not careful to keep our water flowing then we could allow our pond to become stagnant. There are two parts in life that we must recognize to keep our love in balance and one is our input as well as the other is our output. For one without the other allows our ponds to become cloudy and even to the point that we could miss some vital nutrients which is given in needed time.

If you ever study a pond compare it to yourself to insure the natural springs which feed you internally and double check yourself to insure that your love is flowing to someone else. Because the last thing that any loving individual should want, is for their life to become cloudy to the point that they can not see and to become stagnant to the point that others might fail to believe…amen
