The Day the Earth Stood Still

October 4, 2009 by Leave a Comment

In the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still with Keanu Reeves he played a roll as an angel that was sent to this earth with a mission to end the self destruction that was taking place in this fallen world. As he got involved in his mission he realized that their was still hope within a small few that caused him to change the original mission that he was sent to do.

This movie parallels the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah in the book of Genesis of the Holy Bible. The Lord sent two angels to Sodom to warn Lot of the destruction that was soon to follow due to the city being infested with sin that eventually destroyed the entire town. Prior to the angels arrival in Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham interceded with the Lord in pleading to save what few righteous there were and this parallels the plea in a small scale of Jennifer Connelly with Keanu Reeves in an attempt to save humanity.

There is a beautiful message in the lessons of Sodom and Gomorrah not only with Abraham but with Lot and his family in the lessons we learn in life when we allow sin to grow out of control. There comes a point in life when man becomes so lost that we cause self destruction for not adhering to the will of God and eventually the Lord will send wrath to the people for their continued sins that they dwell within.

All ideas and thoughts come from one of two sources either being of God or of Satan. When individuals dispute this point and place their thoughts or ideas upon themselves in order to raise themselves up then this is exactly what Satan wants in losing site of the Creator. This movie is an interesting movie when you look at the biblical parallel to Sodom and Gomorrah in comparing it to today’s time that we are in. It is time that we look with spiritual eyes and ears to really see the message that is being delivered to insure the foundation from which we stand.

Angels & Demons

October 4, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In the movie ” Angels & Demons” starring Tom Hanks he plays a roll of a Harvard professor that has become stuck in this world by not understanding how to let go of what we see in the physical to believe in the spiritual. It is in our human nature to only believe what we see before us. But there comes a point in life just as Tom Hanks character that we will begin to open up our eyes and ears in serving the Lord with no fears. This is what Tom Hanks did in this movie in risking his life for others while not even seeing what was really taking place in his actions while being caught up in the mystery of the Illuminati. Throughout the movie he never realized how God was working through him and in the end he began to see how he was used to set others free.

There are several messages throughout this movie but there were two that really stood out above all others. One is the battle between the church and science and the other is the reason for the church order to hold things together. Both of these topics are addressed in the book Special Delivery and this movie also shows the fine line between the two when we don’t understand power and when the church restricts or hides the truth from the people.

Here is the wisdom that God has given me to now share with you. Without God man can’t control power! And with God we receive the discipline we need to protect His people and build for the future! Over the years between science and the church they have battled and caused many souls to become lost because they did not properly teach the Word of God. God gives us the wisdom and knowledge to do everything we do from walking on the moon, to creating nuclear energy, to replacing human organs and the list goes on and on. But over the years of the church and the scientist not standing together in praising God for the resources which He gives we have allowed the praise to fall into the hands of man that did not properly understand.

There is such a fine line in this that has caused so many to stumble. Until man realizes that we don’t have all the answers and learn to adhere to the discipline of God to control the powers which He gives then there is always going to be a threat of penetration that will affect someones generation. This movie is real in how demons can enter into our church, our government and our homes when we separate ourselves from God through Jesus Christ which protects our homes and our children’s future.

Everyone has a roll whether they know it or not in life . Some never figure it out, some know it on the inside but choose to not show it on the outside, while others just can’t let go of what is holding them back in the glory of God by just admitting that we don’t have all the answers. It is imperative that every person understands that there is much more to this life than what we can physically see because true life is being spiritually free.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

October 4, 2009 by Leave a Comment

In the movie “Ghost of Girfriends Past” starring Matthew McConaughey, Michael Douglas and Jennifer Garner it gives a message of how shallow our lives are without true love in our life. At first I struggled with this movie and almost walked out due to the sexual content and the lack of respect that Matthews character had for the feelings of others. But as the movie progressed I began to see the message in the glory of God and how the Lord is preparing the secular world through outside resources in order to return to that first love that many have lost. There is a biblical parallel to this movie and what we are taught in Revelation 2 in the letter to the church of Ephesus.

We are told in this letter to the church,”That we don’t love the Lord or each other as we did at first. Look how far we have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lamp-stand from its place among the churches.”

When you study this instruction from God in the Holy Bible and view the overall message within the movie Ghost of Girfriends Past it is plain to see the void and loss of direction when we fall to the world and neglect the feelings in love that we all carry. Deep down inside every single living soul wants to be loved! But due to our society in how far we have fallen to selfish behavior we have lost touch with the strength we carry in the love that is given through Jesus Christ. There is nothing better in this world than sincere love with respect for life in everything we are given.

In the movie Matthew McConaughey made a wise statement of biblical truth in a toast to his brother about true love. He said this in the message but maybe not in exact words,” He wanted to be like his brother who gave love in all all directions but never asked for anything in return.” Compare this statement to the life of Jesus Christ and see for yourself how the Lord touches us in places we never expect. True love gives and never looks for anything in return and this is exactly what Jesus taught us in His walk of life.

When or if you view this movie remove yourself from the physical and look at it in the spiritual to see how Matthew can represent the Christian body in America and how this country is hurting deeply on the inside because it can’t swallow its pride to realize how lost we are in this fallen world. It is time that America Wakes Up to this truth, cries in tears of rain and returns back to our foundation and first love in Jesus Christ. When we do this there will be great joy in lifting the evil spirits that have been holding us back from the love that we all carry inside.

It is very easy in this world when we have been hurt at some point in our life to shut off our feelings and go into self preservation thinking as Matthew went into within this movie. But this is very unhealthy and even shallow in the end just as the message in the movie reveals to us in the regrets of Michael Douglas that he shared with Matthew in order to keep him from traveling the lonely road that he went down. We all need to be slapped from time to time with the Truth like Jennifer gave to Matthew in this movie because without the Truth there is no hope and a lonely life.

Here is a poem from the book Special Delivery on pages 106 – 107 that the Lord placed on my heart that relates to the message within this movie and the beauty within true love:

Riding A Wave

Marriage is like riding a wave. Some individuals become anxious and fail to wait on the right one. While some just drift looking for the perfect wave that never comes or just passes them by.
There is no perfect wave but only the One of God and the object to locating your wave that will fit is learning how to accept what you have and learning how to commit.
Before you begin, it is best to start out slow. First on your stomach, then to your knees and when you feel the time is right you learn how to stand hand in hand.
As you both begin to balance riding the same wave and learn to travel the same common direction, you never take your focus off the one you love to maintain your balance in giving that needed affection. Sometimes the waves may get choppy but you can learn how to ride by always keeping your love right by your side.
There will be times when you must part but this does not mean that it is any different from the start. You can always feel their presence no matter the distance you may be because you know the love that you carry in your heart.
In these times that you are not physically together you are still traveling the same direction because you are spiritually connected. This is like being in a love tunnel inside the same wave in not being able to see each other but you know you both are going the same Way.
While the other may be on top and you are in the tunnel you both stand strong maintaining your balance in the love that you carry. Sometimes the rolls may reverse from who is on top but where the confidence comes in is knowing that neither will stop!
A relationship takes daily nourishment to stay on the same wave. It is when we neglect these principles in love that we will begin to drift apart.
If you truly want your love to grow in every aspect of life then feed it daily with the love of Jesus Christ and your love will never part in every day that you start! Amen

The Last Samurai

October 4, 2009 by Leave a Comment

In the movie titled “ The Last Samurai” starring Tom Cruise there is a lesson in this movie regarding the spirit in how to align ourselves with a single direction while removing our minds from this world. This is exactly what the Lord tried to teach us in the Old Testament. But there was one part in this maturity in the Spirit that is often left out and that is who gives us this helper in the spirit and the completion of how love conquers all through the life of Jesus Christ in the New Testament.

This movie has a powerful message in discipline, respect and honor that shows power in the spirit once we align ourselves with the task we have at hand. But in this movie there is a very important factor to recognize that was not pointed out in giving the glory to God instead of placing the recognition on man. This same message is portrayed from many men that have taught the Art of War like Sun Tzu and other great tactical warriors. But far too often we as humans look upon the man in the flesh instead of looking upon God through Jesus Christ in recognizing the spirit which carries us forward in life.

There is only one way to have true victory and that is through the love of Jesus Christ and recognizing the spirit that we follow. Many people fail to acknowledge and even recognize the giver of the spirit in who gives and takes away. The wisdom and discipline that is portrayed in this movie did not come from man but from God in how we are to align ourselves in the spirit while giving up something of ourselves for the life of someone else. Tom Cruise in this movie ” The Last Samurai” taught a lesson in honor that was originally taught in the Holy Bible and even fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ. When he gave up his way of life for someone else in what was right then you can say he pulled up his cross in giving up his life for the sake of others. Can you see the parallel in this movie with Tom Cruise and what Jesus taught each of us in His walk of life? Never allow Satan to do what is wrong in trying to remove something in your heart which you know is right! But always remember to act in the love of Jesus Christ in not acting in the physical while allowing God to work in the spiritual.

Here is a short but powerful poem from page 45 in the book Special Delivery that that the Lord placed on my heart. If you will open your eyes and ears to the words that are spoken then you will hear the wisdom in the depth of thought:

Game Of Life

Life is a game that can be compared to chess.
Analyze each move and always know your surroundings.
Protect your family and guard your heart.
Don’t make the same mistake twice
And take your time before you move.
Do this to insure your objective and not to hurt others.
Move graciously within love and enjoy the time you have to play.
Instructing others for the day that you must step aside
And let someone else begin carrying on our true Kings way! Amen

August Rush

October 4, 2009 by Leave a Comment

There is a very interesting message in this movie titled “August Rush” starring Robin Williams that teaches us about the Spirit of God in what we can truly hear when we stop and listen to our hearts that sing a tune. Music plays a major roll in our society and our well being but far to often this is never properly understood in the Spirit of God and in the spirit of satan.

This movie contains a message of how to listen and what to listen for but there is one major element that they failed to acknowledge in the harmony of the Holy Spirit. If they were to apply this same basis and then completed it in glory to God then it would have had an impact that would created a revival in the Spirit of God through Jesus Christ.

Music can be heard all around us when we stop to listen but far too often few never figure this out. Harmony in the Spirit is a gift from God that uplifts us beyond man to hear the music in Gods beautiful plan. Here is the link to the movie August Rush and if you choose to view the movie see if you can hear something else in the overall message.

Noted below is a piece of music that was heard in the Spirit of God that relates to the movie August Rush in how music can be heard when we stop to listen;

One morning I was sitting in the chapel all alone while enjoying prayer and feeling the Holy Spirit . As I sat there I looked over at the piano with sun rays coming through the window upon it and I thought of how I love to hear the piano softly played. I then walked over to it saying, ” Okay Lord you tell us we can do anything if we have faith and even move mountains if we believe. So I then sat down and looked at the keys before closing my eyes and I began to play. It was beautiful to me and this is what I heard:

The note of a piano string
How far do you hear it fading away?
Do you interupt it with another
Before it is complete?
Or do start another key
So the notes may meet?
Each note has a specific tune to its faded end
It is in this appreciation we will learn to love
Each note to the end.
If we choose to meet
With another key
Let them sing in harmony together
So they will last forever.
It is in this process
We will find
The love and appreciation
To all of mankind… Amen

I must admit that I did not play the piano like a trained musician but the Lord played music within my heart from the very start…
