Walking The Narrow Road…

August 16, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

For the path of God may be narrow but the longer we mature within His Word and learn to listen to His voice without fears we will find that the narrow road contains everything we need and that there is only one direction to travel in moving forward.  The path of God takes us forward without us looking back or in hesitation for we were not created to walk backwards or from side to side.

Imagine yourself as a mature builder that has no fear of heights. All that you have is a 2×4 to walk on as you build your home. You feel safe and secure when standing on the ground before you start walking up high when all you can see is the sky. The winds tend to blow harder the higher you climb and if you don’t know when to walk and when not then you could be setting yourself up for a fall.

Walking the narrow road with God is road that requires balance through self discipline and trust without fears. For each one of us are builders of our own homes which starts first within our self. Once we learn how to walk in faith is when God will add some rooms for others to join in on the build that is to be serving within Kingdom of God…

But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few
ever find it. Matthew 7:14

Stay On Track…

August 15, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Sometimes to see the Way we must lose the path in order to find it again. For if we don’t know that we are lost on our path how would we ever find the Way back home? The sad part is when we think that we are on the path but later discover that it was a dead end road.

The object is to recognize the signs along the Way before we reach the dead end and to be willing to admit that we made a wrong turn on a track that led us astray. Sometimes we need to ask for directions and it is important that we ask someone that knows the Way. For what good are directions if we are not willing to listen to instruction?Because if we don’t know the Way then we are headed for destruction…

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.

Chain Of Life…

August 12, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Luke 14:12 Then He also said to him who invited Him, “When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid. 13 But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. 14 And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”

Here in this scripture Jesus is teaching us about the chain of life. For if one link only serves within its own circle then that link never learns how to connect and serve within the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is a chain that reaches out so others can discover the Way and is a chain that can not be broken in the love of Jesus Christ…

There Is Great Power In Prayer

August 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Recently the Lord has convicted me on not praying over what little I had instead of praying for something else to be given. My prayers have been in thanks for what He has given but where I was missing the boat was in praying over the little to serve alot. Throughout the Word of God we learn where God multiplied the provisions through faith and prayer as Elisha instructed the widow to fill her jars with oil and we learn by the example of Jesus praying over the two fish with the five loaves of bread in how God multiplied the measure to serve His will.

It is one thing to say thanks over what we have but another to pray over what we have been given. It is truly amazing at what we can discover with God when we slow down enough to listen as we open our hearts up in thanksgiving. For all God wants is for us to maintain our balance through the love of Jesus Christ while edifying the Kingdom of God in serving others as we give Him all glory…amen

Without Roots There Is No Balance…

August 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Learning how to stand as an infant is something that comes in strength and in courage. There are fears at first and even some scars from our falls but when we trust in our Father’s hand that is there to catch us in our falls is when He will hold us up above all.

Being rooted in the love of God is vital to maintain our balance in this evil world. For if we are not deeply rooted when the winds of sin blow our way then don’t be surprised if you fall under the pressures of this world. Our root system is vital to maintain and should always be growing deeper in God’s Word. For what good is a tree without roots or how long can a tree stand with roots that are not moist but dry?

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
