Sometimes to see the Way we must lose the path in order to find it again. For if we don’t know that we are lost on our path how would we ever find the Way back home? The sad part is when we think that we are on the path but later discover that it was a dead end road.
The object is to recognize the signs along the Way before we reach the dead end and to be willing to admit that we made a wrong turn on a track that led us astray. Sometimes we need to ask for directions and it is important that we ask someone that knows the Way. For what good are directions if we are not willing to listen to instruction?Because if we don’t know the Way then we are headed for destruction…
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.
