Are You A Teacher Or A Speaker?

September 16, 2010 by admin 2 Comments

There is a distinct difference in teaching and in speaking that is causing many children and adults to stumble and even fall. Teaching takes time and patience with understanding the different personalities of each student. It is easy to speak something and call ourselves a good teacher but if we are not giving the time that is required to help others find their way then we are nothing but a speaker.

Angels In The Flesh

September 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

How many times do we fall guilty to looking  at people and thinking that there is no use or purpose in their life? Have you ever considered that this very person that God created is there for a reason to test our faith and to see how we will grow in His Word? Throughout the Word of God the Lord demonstrates how He will take those that are on the bottom and take them to the top to teach us to never lose sight or hope in the miracles of God.

It is very easy to cast out someone when we don’t want to take the time in love to help others when they are in need. This is exactly what Jesus taught against and if we are to call ourselves Christians then we should strive to follow His Word out the love that is in our hearts and soul. Our Lord has His arms open calling in love for us to come home and never did He instruct us to close the doors of our hearts to tell others to go away.

I challenge you to open your heart in love and allow Jesus to show you the Way…amen

True Love In The Family Of God

September 14, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

What is the difference between the love of our children and the love of Jesus that we are to have with others? Why is that when our children screw up that we tend to forgive them but we can’t forgive others when they do the same? So many people are walking around and allowing Satan to spiritaully oppress their happiness  because they can’t let go of the emotions that they feel on the inside and they continue to carry around their frustrations and aggravations.

Everything that is taking place is in the hands of God and it is our place to follow His Word in serving within His will. The Lord teaches us to love one another unconditionally and to forgive each other as He has forgiven us.  At no time are we to give up on another brother or sister no matter how far they fall and I praise God today for not giving us what we truly deserve.

It is time that we begin to love each other as God loves us without distancing ourselves from our family and friends. I challenge you today to step up to the plate and swallow your pride to love one another as Jesus loves us…amen

Look Beyond What You See

September 13, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

When you look at something that you have before you do you look at it as an obstacle or do you see it as something that God has put before you to help grow in His Word? So many times we allow our vision to become restricted because we become so fixated on a particular spot that we tend to lose sight of everything else. It is in our human nature to want to throw something away when it does not work according to plan but it is vital that we recall who’s plan we are to follow.

Where many of us tend to lose sight as we grow older and more impatient is the actual time and delicate touch that is required in the hands of God to be shaped into the vessel that He intends for us to be. Shaping and molding is something that comes in time as we learn the art of God’s Word to help restore something before it is broken.

For without the loving hands of God’s children all around us how would you feel if you were broken and all alone? I challenge you if you know someone that is struggling or going through a hard time to take the time to show them the love of Jesus that is in your heart. Sometimes all we need to overcome our trials is to just know that someone truly cares…amen

God Gives Us Clarity & Vision

September 11, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

The further that we drift away from God the more distorted our vision becomes. This drift often starts with a small step in the wrong direction into the darkness of the world. There is an interesting discovery in this understanding of the Truth and that is,”As one walks from the darkness towards the light they tend to see even more but as one that walks from the light into the darkness they tend to lose sight to the point that they can not even see themselves.”

God gives us clarity and vision in the light of Jesus Christ to see through the darkness of this world to reach the other side. Without the love of Jesus in our hearts and soul we often follow the principles of God but forget how we are to love each other unconditionally as He loves us. When we lack the understanding in the Word of God of how to recognize the darkness it is very easy to allow ourselves to fall into the spiritual traps of Satan that are in place to hold us back.

There are two distinct parts that we should recognize between the purity of the light and the confusion in the darkness. As one travels from the darkness to the light it is important to recognize that in this physical life there will always be obstructions trying to block the Way. In these obstructions we should look at them as curve balls or as temporary detours because in this walk towards the light sometimes we have to to take a step back in order to learn how to move forward. The object in the curve balls that we see is to learn the spirit of the pitch in order to bring ourselves back home. For when we learn how to recognize the spirit that we are dealing with is when we are learning the art of the game.

It is so easy in our human nature to allow our eyes to only see the the objects or hurdles that we have before us but in the vision that God gives we are to always seek the light to help us overcome the darkness.  When we learn to walk with Jesus our vision lifts from this temporary world to see the spiritual test that we have before us in order to learn how to grow in our faith and how to maintain the coarse that God provides. We are to never lose hope no matter how dark things may seem and it is through our faith that God will always carry us through…amen

The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good your whole body will be full of light. Matthew 6:22

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
