Unity Requires Trust

March 22, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever really considered the lesson of Joshua and Caleb when they were ready to go forward into the Promised Land but the others on their team being the Israelites lacked faith in God because they could not take their eyes off of man? Think about it! If you have a team that carries specific talents and they are in their positions but fail to trust in one another then how far do you honestly expect the team to go? Could you see that the team would lack harmony due to their lack of unity?

This same principle applies in our homes, our careers and in the church. For without trust their is a constant battle for the ball and this causes many people to miss the ones that have received God’s call. It is vital to understand that we all drop the ball from time to time but what matters is how we pick the ball back up and get back in the game!

The Trickery of Satan

March 21, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever been at a point where you felt as if you could not trust someone and that you had to watch every move they made? Did you ever feel like if you missed something that it would be the very moment that something might take place? Spiritually Satan works in our minds with distrust because he knows how it can rob us and in-prison our spiritual being.

When we have lack of trust this displays our spiritual immaturity and it can lead to a controlling spirit. Within this controlling spirit Satan will try to misguide us in our  human efforts instead of understanding the true meaning of love.If you are holding on to something in distrust then you are allowing Satan to spiritually rob you of the blessings that could be right around the corner.

Jesus knew that Judas was a thief and Jesus knew that Peter would deny Him but did He allow this to detour His love or distract Him from the mission? Jesus plainly taught us Psalm 118:8 in placing our trust in God instead of placing confidence in man. When we learn how to place our trust in God is when the Lord will bring down the spiritual walls of Satan that restrict us from the blessings of God….

God Is The Potter & We Are The Clay

February 16, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in this physical life to get caught up in self and forget how God is the Potter and we are the clay. Everyday we encounter spiritual hands around us that are there to help shape us into who God wants us to be but too many times we take our eyes off of God and we place them back upon man. Being formed and shaped is not something that feels good until we recognize the Potters hand at work because often the areas that need to be addressed are the ones that have become hard and require the most pressure to get back in line.

The object is in being obedient to God in allowing His Holy Spirit to be the one that is directing the pressure and allowing Him to reshape us from within as we keep our eyes upon God. Have you ever formed a clay pot and learned the principles of not enough pressure and too much pressure to develop the vessel that is to carry the water or to hold the plant? Have you ever held up a clay pot to the light to insure there were no cracks in the vessel?

Throughout the Word of God He teaches us how He works through people to teach us lessons and to help us stay in tune even if we are bent out of shape. The next time something takes place that causes you to get bent out of shape seek God before you react to insure that you act in love. For there is nothing like being shaped and molded in the love of God to mature into the vessel that we are to be….Amen

Detours Help Us To Develop Character

February 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever considered the purpose of a detour?

See a detour is there to get us back to where we are going but they can also teach us new ways of direction as we travel the new roads to reach our destination. Not only do they teach us new ways to develop our character but they can also teach us where we got off course and help us to see things that we would not normally see.

Here is another interesting part in God’s wisdom about a detour. Often the detour is there not only to teach us something new but it is there to help repair the main road that has been damaged by the elements of the world. Sometimes detours are there for us to simply get our lives back on track before we miss the boat.( There is something deep within this message for those with the eyes to see and the ears to hear)

How do you react when you face a detour in life? Do you 1st look at it to recognize if you were the one to bring it on yourself before you blame someone else? In your detour are so pressed for time or angry because something disturbed your plans that you do not even recognize the lesson that God has right before you?

The next time you encounter something as a detour in your home, your work, in your travels or simply in your life look at it for the spiritual message instead of allowing Satan to miss what God is trying to teach you through your detours in life….

Don’t get hung up and miss the boat!!!

Praise God In Your Burdens

February 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

When we are burdened or mistreated, we may feel defeated. But when we learn to seek God in our burdens He will give us the strength to grow stronger and the wisdom to help us develop the valuable qualities for our future. Be true to God in the hard times because even the worst situations can make us better people when we learn to place our trust in the Lord….Amen

Here is a question for you this morning,”How can we be an overcomer without troubles to overcome?”

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
