The Art Of War…

April 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

The art of war is not always about winning the battle but learning to win the war. See Jesus taught us this in His walk of life and He won the war by teaching us the art of selfless sacrifice. Jesus did not fall into the spiritual snares and traps of Satan either through the darts that were thrown at Him through the people’s words and actions nor through evil temptations. It is through the love of God that we discover the only antidote to the snake bites of this world.

This is why the Lord teaches us to put on the Full Armor of God to protect us from the snakes that try to hold us back. As God taught us with Moses in the wilderness a message that paralells the same message of Christ we are to focus upon the Lord and directly face the snakes that bite us. Until we learn to stand in belief and face the snakes without waver in the Truth through God’s love then our lives will be negatively affected.

The art of war is being as wise as a serpent but gentle as a dove while learning to walk in the enemy camp without allowing the enemy to change who we are. We can not recognize the enemy unless we know the enemy and this is a vital part of warfare.  Be wise in the Word of God to recognize that this is not our battle. For this war is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual principalities and powers that are way higher than us. For vengeance is the Lords…amen

For if we are not willing to go into battle how will you ever learn how to hear the snakes rattle?

The Bite Of A Serpent…

April 6, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

There is alot of wisdom that comes from God when we sincerley seek His Word and learn to listen. As we have discussed serpents and the enemy previously this week I pray that each reader of this message has the ears to hear and the eyes to see. For God teaches us through His Holy Spirit and He teaches us so much through His creation.

Here is a message on the bite of a serpent. Like any poisonous snake that injects its venom into our veins the words and actions of others are the same. See, if you are bitten by a rattlesnake you can not use the venom of a copperhead to heal the body. It takes the same exact venom from the same species of snake to counteract the poison that can destroy the body.

This message parallels the same message of sin. For if we do not address our sins as a bite of a snake and we try to cover them up without knowing the type of wound then we are setting our body up to be stunted or for decay. See the bite of the serpent works in two ways; 1) It affects the one doing the biting and 2) It affects the one that has been bitten.

The only way for the one that has been bitten to recover from the bite is through true forgiveness through the love of Jesus Christ. The object though is to recognize the snake before they strike. How do we recognize the bites of the serpent you might ask? This only comes through knowing the Word of God and the way react when bitten shows our maturity in Jesus Christ.

Too many times we try to cover up our sins with something that leaves the infection still deep within. Until we learn how to retract our bites through confession and repentance then our lives will be remain infected with a posionous venom. If this message has stirred something in your spirit and you recognize where you have bitten then I pray that you humble yourself to retract the venom from the one you bit. Or, if this message stirrs something in your spirit where you were once bitten then I pray that you will open your wound up for the healing of Jesus at the cross…Amen

For Jesus said,”Forgive them Father for they know not what they do“.

Working Around The Enemy…

April 5, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Every day that we have to enter this world we encounter Satan spiritually working through the lost and unfortunately even in some that think they are found. We encounter people that claim to be one thing but they show something different. These are the ones that can do the most damage. For a snake that blends in is hard to detect unless you are alert in the Word of God to recognize the enemy.

See there are all different types of snakes. Some are simply lazy without venom but their laziness can get so heavy that they can squeeze the life out of their prey. Some snakes act like they have a bite but when you back them in a corner you will find they have no power becuase all they know how to do is fight. But the most dangerous snakes are the ones that slip in when you are sleeping.

A snake that learns the ways of its prey often moves in disguise feeding off of the praise of others. He or she especially works on the young in their mind to limit their effectiveness in the Kingdom of God. The praise that the enemy receives feeds the spirtual enemy due to their selfish desires for control, power, greed or to simply fill their cup that is empty by making them feel important.

As any snake that we encounter it is wise to be alert to what we are dealing with in the spiritual enemy. For the venom that comes from their actions and evil words can bring rot in the body. The only way for true healing is for the one that bites to retract their wrongs through confession and repentance to make things right. For a true believer in Christ does not inject venom but soothes the soul in true love through their words and actions.

Be wise to enemy that not only works on the outside but thrives to work within us from within the inside…”Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.’ Matthew 10

When To Stand…

April 4, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

In 1 Samuel 20 we learn a valuable lesson on sacrifice between Jonathan and David. Jonathan’s own dad (Saul) had allowed jealousy to consume him to the point he wanted to kill his son’s friend David. The interesting part within this lesson is when Jonathan spoke to his father about David and how the anger inside Jonathan’s father then transfered towards his own son. Jonathan then developed righteous anger towards his fathers wrong actions not for what he had done to him but for what he was doing to his friend David.

The lesson is this,”Do you become angered towards the injustice towards yourself or for the wrongs that are being done to others?” Our life should not matter because God has given us the Way to handle this but when wrongs are being done to others then we have a responsibility under God to stand for one another. Isn’t this the same lesson that Jesus taught? Isn’t this the same lesson He showed on the cross?

Think about it! In your love of Christ we should be able to handle someone doing us wrong through the instruction of God as Jonathan displayed with his own father but this does not mean that we are to allow someone being spiritually misguided by Satan to hurt the ones we love. If someone was to speak evil words about someone in your family would this not get you up out of your seat? What is this difference between someone in our immediate family at home and another brother or sister in Christ? For if we are true believers this would in all be the same…amen

How To Sow Seeds…

April 1, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Learning to sow seeds is very important not only in the garden but in the Kingdom. Way too many times we get in a hurry without learning how to plant. Think about it! Each individual seed is a plant by itself. This individual plant is to produce fruit for the future harvest. Where many farmers and Christians alike miss the boat is in too many plants growing in one spot and not taking the time to properly nourish the young.

For when more than one plant is sharing the same pot, if they are not careful to work together they could stunt the overall growth affecting the harvest. The object in planting seed is becoming a wise farmer that learns how to not waste what he plants. A key part in gardening is learning how to place the plants in position to reach their full potential. For what good is a fruit tree if it never learns how to bear fruit? Or, what good is a farmer without patience?

The Lord teaches us not to plant two different seeds in one field because one can take from the other. When you really seek God for this wisdom you can learn alot about how to plant in love…Make Your Seeds Count and Not Fall Dorment!!!

May His Amazing Love Touch You As He Has Touched Me… Amazing Love
