Are You Real or Fake?

February 15, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is easy to act in obedience to God when we are around other believers but the real question is,”Who are we?” when no one is around. Have you ever considered the way you act or speak in front of some people and then the way you actin front of others? Are you consistent in your walk or would others find a hypocrite in your actions?

With the Lord in the center of our lives we can find a balance in our attitudes and actions due to being anchored with Jesus at the cross. When you meet individuals that are not anchored you will find that they either have to put up a front or they simply just reveal who robs them of their joy by the way they act and react.

God wants our obedience to His Word and with our obedience there should be a consistent pattern in our lives that carries us forward. If you find yourself saying something to one individual that you would not want repeated to someone else or acting one way in front of the world but another way in front of other Christians then we need to ask ourselves this question, “Are we real or are we being fake?”

How Deep Is Your Love?

February 14, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy to say the words that I love you and especially on special occasions but the real question is how do we show it throughout the year? If the one you love was to fill out a survey on the way you show your love how would you rank? Are you a good listener? Do you have compassion? Are you understanding? Do you consider the other before you consider yourself? Are you forgiving? Do you make them laugh? Are you encouraging? Or, are you just one of those that says the words with no depth and tries to display your love through some type of gift?

Now Jesus says that we can tell who or what someones loves by the fruit that they bare. Have you considered the fruit of your tree or is there any fruit at all? In our human nature it is easy to become lazy and take forgranted the love that we have but always remember that we never know the day nor the hour that we or someone else will be called home. It is my prayer that every individual that reads this message will not take forgranted the life that they have been given and learn to love others as we want to be loved in return…For there is no better treasure than the love of God in our hearts and soul...Amen

Detours Help Us To Develop Character

February 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever considered the purpose of a detour?

See a detour is there to get us back to where we are going but they can also teach us new ways of direction as we travel the new roads to reach our destination. Not only do they teach us new ways to develop our character but they can also teach us where we got off course and help us to see things that we would not normally see.

Here is another interesting part in God’s wisdom about a detour. Often the detour is there not only to teach us something new but it is there to help repair the main road that has been damaged by the elements of the world. Sometimes detours are there for us to simply get our lives back on track before we miss the boat.( There is something deep within this message for those with the eyes to see and the ears to hear)

How do you react when you face a detour in life? Do you 1st look at it to recognize if you were the one to bring it on yourself before you blame someone else? In your detour are so pressed for time or angry because something disturbed your plans that you do not even recognize the lesson that God has right before you?

The next time you encounter something as a detour in your home, your work, in your travels or simply in your life look at it for the spiritual message instead of allowing Satan to miss what God is trying to teach you through your detours in life….

Don’t get hung up and miss the boat!!!

Pass The Baton In Due Season

February 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Did you know that if we become stubborn that it can be disobedience to God and that our stubbornness will not only affect our lives but the lives of others? Many generations have mistaken stubbornness with obedience because they simply do not understand how to trust in God so they place their trust in man.  Out of fear many leaders have become stubborn and forgotten how to recognize how the Lord works through the people and when we miss this is when He often will work through nature in ways to get our attention.

Have you ever witnessed a manager or owner of a company that held on to their position for too long and it sucked the life out of the environment? Have you ever been in a position where you had something to add but you were not allowed the chance to do so due to the insecurities of your superior? If we don’t learn how to pass the baton and work together then don’t be surprised when the foundation begins to lose its footing.

Persistence is good when we know the motives but stubbornness is usually self centered and leads toward rebellion. When you rid yourself of stubbornness and begin to trust God for the outcome you may be surprised in the blessings that God has right before you. Don’t allow Satan to spiritually misguide you in stubbornness and learn to be alert to what God is doing all around you. For the last thing any loving Christian should want is to see the life being sucked out of the game because someone was too stubborn to pass the baton in due season…Amen

What Are You Running From?

February 9, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

How many times have you ever witnessed something of God or felt challenged by another believer in your spirit and then simply neglected what was actually taking place? This lesson of our human nature is taught with Pharaoh in Exodus 7:23 in how he was being challenged. Pharoah even witnessed a miracle but then in his stubborness he returned to his home to put the whole thing out of his mind.

Have you ever not faced a situation that Gods has put before you due to you fears or in your lack of understanding of whom is actually in control? Have you ever gone to work to get away from something that needs to be addressed at home? Have you ever gone somewhere you did not need to be due to something else that you did want to face? Or, have you become so blind to the Power of God that you have forgotten that He can speak through a donkey?

Never underestimate the Power of God and what He might have right before you or in that child in your home. What we think is impossible by man is possible by God! The object is are we in tune with His Word or being blinded by what we see!

If there is something in your life that continues to pop up or something that you are trying to cover up then may I strongly encourage you to face it with a humbled heart to receive the blessing or blessings that God has right before you. For if we don’t face the Truth the Truth will face us!!!

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
