Self Evaluation…

If you were to do a self evaluation today what would you see? Would you see anger or gentleness? Forgiveness or unforgiveness? Mercy or very little mercy? Trust or distrust? Joy or sadness? Direction or no direction? Motivation or no drive? Would you find your life full of life or does it appear to be lifeless?

There is no excuse not be happy nor is there any excuse to allow our lives to become dormant. In spite of whatever circumstances that we are going through it is important to understand that they are temporary if we are seeking God for the direction to overcome. This is how we discover joy in our trials because everyday is an adventure to reach the eternal destination.

If you have joy let others see the reflection of your joy without trying to push it on them or doing something in show. Light reflects in the darkness without force and penetrates the inner chambers of our souls. It is good to seek within the dark caves that are within us to allow the light of Jesus Christ to remove what is wrong and simply replace it with what is right.

Do you Seek Peace Or War?

Have you ever been around someone that was always complaining or someone who seemed to always stir the pot without trying to correct the issue? Have you ever lived in a home or worked in an environment where there was constant war with very little peace? There is nothing worse than to be in an atmosphere of evil spirits that create an environment of distrust and anguish. The only way to combat these evil spirits that we face on a daily basis is with the Word of God that protects us from being robbed of the joy that we carry on the inside.

As Soloman teaches us about kind words and as Jesus teaches us to love thy enemy it is our place as a child of God to counter something that is wrong in love for something that is right by God. For when we have disunity there is no harmony in the body and as Paul teaches us in 2 Corinthians 13 God will not be with us if we are not seeking peace. Without God there is no direction and without the love of Jesus there is no harmony due to the disunity.

There is music that can be heard and felt in the Spirit of God when we have unity within the body. This music is called love and it gives us an environment with strength and security for our children’s future. If you look for peace you can find peace and if you look for war you can find war. I challenge you today to look for peace in everything you do with the drive of God getting you through…Amen

We often find what we seek and this can be done in every person that we meet…

What Is Your Story Of Truth?

Did you know your life is another story of truth that could be written down in the Holy Bible? God gave us the beginning and the end from Genesis to Revelation and our life is somewhere in between. With this being said what story would be told in your life and what lessons would be shared with others? Are you living your life in accountability to God and being attentive to follow His Word?

In every day that we are given there is something that God puts before us to do and when we are not being attentive to His Word we often let these times slip through. Be alert in every day that you are given and be ready to share the love of Jesus through your actions and words. God has us here for a reason and it should be our goal to seek His interest in our life and not our own desires.

Look at everyday as an adventure with God with a story to be told. By looking at them one day at a time throughout the period of your life you will find that every year is a new chapter with an ending that is sure to come. It is my prayer that your book of life is one that grabs the attention of the Angels in Heaven above because you recognize the Creator and Author of your life through Jesus Christ…Amen

Trials Build Us Stronger

God is faithful and His strength is sufficient for any trial. God allows trials to come our way to keep us from pride and to teach us dependence on the Lord. We often wonder why we encounter trials and tribulations but it is wise to recognize them as a test from God to help build us stronger in the future.

Don’t give Satan victory in your test and allow him to rob you of the joy that you can have in Jesus Christ! For when we seek God for our lessons, He will help us develop that inner strength for the road ahead….amen

The Riches Of Heaven

Due to our human nature we often describe prosperity in monetary means. Unfortunately, this has even been preached from pulpits with pastors preying upon their listeners without properly teaching the true meaning of prosperity. This prosperity message has caused many people to stumble and become discouraged because they falsely give while looking for something in return. This same principle has been used with people in leadership positions in giving publicly because they need the people verses understanding the dependency of God.

True giving expects nothing in return due to the fulfillment that we receive from our Father in Heaven for being obedient to His Word when He directs us in the Holy Spirit. There is nothing like feeling the presence of God and knowing that our deeds are a sweet aroma to our Father in Heaven while allowing Him to have all the praise. The riches of Heaven are not about monetary means for they are about the love that is shared in the family of God.

All of God’s children are the jewels in treasure chest of Heaven and anything else is just a blessing from God! Don’t be fooled with false teachers that mislead the the people with prosperity messages because the best treasure is a family that is being held together in the love of God that carries forward His will throughout the generations…Amen
