Are You Tuned In?

Staying in tune with God requires humility, obedience and sacrifice. In order to be dialed in with clarity this is received only through the love of Jesus. There are many other signals being produced that are there to lead us astray and the object is to filter the signals through the Word of God in order to see the Way. Sometimes the signals can be very deceiving and this is when it best to simply wait upon the Lord in order for Him to clear up the interference.

Often we experience inference due to sin, selfish desires or simply due to our human flesh but the closer we get to God the clearer the signal will become as we continue to dial in. The question is are we seeking to stay in tune or are we allowing the devil to disrupt the signal?

Here is some food for thought; How can I hear the music if I am not listening for the music? How can I hear God if I am not listening for God? It is easy to miss something if I am not looking for something and the question is, what are we looking and listening for? Last but not least, how can I recognize the voice if I do not know how to hear the voice or because I am too stuck on what I see due to forgetting how to believe?

River Of Life…

There is a spiritual river in life that can be fully discovered through the love of Jesus Christ. Like any river there is a main channel which is fed from the inner springs of God. There is a natural flow of grace within the living water that soothes the soul. As there is a mighty power in the flow of the river.

Man constructs dams to serve there own purpose and it is when these dams do not allow the water to flow that algae will begin to grow. For man made lakes require something else of man to keep them clean but the rivers of life are purified as they flow down stream.

It is when the springs meet that the bubbles begin to leap and as they learn to flow as one without the restrictions of man we begin to witness the hand of our Creator in this beautiful land….Amen

Be Ready For Change…

One of the hardest things to deal with in our human nature is change. We tend to be creatures of habit without recognizing the signs of the season at hand and unfortunately it often takes something drastic to occur in order for us to be moved. The environment is always changing all around us and it is very wise to be open and ready to move as God leads.

We wonder at times why things happen as they do but just think what we would have missed if it was not for the detours in life. Many people get angry when something breaks their pattern but rather than getting angry we should seek God for what it is that maybe we were missing or for what is just around the corner. Once we begin to develop our senses to change then we can begin to look and prepare for the seasons ahead. For I had rather be prepared than not and the object is to move in the hand of grace rather than in the hand of discipline…Amen

Stay Encouraged!!!

Have you ever noticed how easy it is for us in our human nature to become complacent, feel stuck or simply give up? There are times in life that we either want to quit due to the climb or we become discouraged due to the obstacles in our path. Many times this occurs due to witnessing the lack of faith in others or for simply listening to the discouragement in someone else. But when we learn to change our focus from the world and then place our eyes & ears upon the Promises of God then He will ignite the fire that carries us forward as we learn to trust & obey.

The object is knowing that we are on the path that He leads and recognizing that this life is not a bed of roses. There is a reason and a purpose for the wilderness in life to teach and help prepare us for the destination ahead. May you be encouraged today to go the extra mile and to stay focused on the Promises of God!!!

The Power Of Love…

In order to experience the power of love it is necessary to open up our hearts as a surgeon requires for open heart surgery. Unfortunately many never experience the fullness of love nor the amazing power due to holding back from distrust or from simply caring more for themselves than they do for others.

It is when we open up our hearts to reveal who we really are without allowing our fears to hold us back that we can begin to experience the amazing power of selfless love. For selfless love is a love that keeps on giving and it never stops the blood circulation within the body. There are blood clots from time to time but the object is to defeat them before the defeat us.

For a heart without restrictions is a body that is full of life and this can only be fully achieved through the blood of Jesus Christ. If there is something in your life that is causing a restriction in the flow may God give you the strength today to make that needed step in order for your heart to begin to glow.
