Maturing With God…

In Matthew 13 Jesus tells us a parrable about the mustard seed. He is describing the Kingdom of God and how it starts out within each of us to the smallest degree. As we water the seed of God that is within us with the Living Water of Gods Word this allows the seed to take roots and to begin to grow. Over time the seed will begin to grow into a tree within us that others will begin to see and discover a peace that only comes when we learn to stand with God.

The awesome part about this parrable that Jesus gave is that this seed of God never stops growing. For a tree that is planted with God and receives its nutrients from the true source is a tree that is healthy and strong while planting seeds for others to carry on….

Honor Brings Appreciation…

For a person to have honor they first must have it within themselves. Without showing honor for the life that we have been given and displaying appreciation from where we have been this opens the door for a life of carelessness and little meaning. Honor is a reciprocating action that not only learns how to give but it knows how to receive. For where would the receiver be without the giver and where would the giver be without the receiver???

Giving and receiving shows honor to our Father in Heaven and He teaches us this principle throughout His Word. Learning to live within the Kingdom of God first starts at the core and then as we grow in His understanding then our lives will begin to mature over time. By showing honor and humility in everything we do this shows in whom we serve. Without honor our homes and lives are full of chaos which spreads to the next generation. If you were to look at your life today in the mirror of God how would you recognize God in your life? Is there honor in your home or has the evil one robbed you of something that you would like to see return? Always, remember it first starts with you and then as you learn to stand in love with the Lord is when He will begin to bring things back to you…

Is There Life In Your Marriage?

To maintain the fire within our marriage there must be substance within our actions. This substance should be driven by the love we carry. Without substance within our relationships this opens the doors for others to stumble due to living a life of complacencey and simply going through the motions. In everything we do there is a marriage from our careers to our friends from our homes and especially with the Lord but if we have no substance within our actions then our marriage can become lifeless.

Where we find Life we find energy. Where we find Life we find strength. Where we find Life we find Honor. Where we find Life we find love and where we find Life we find God. Does your life project the Life that is within you or does it project something of death or darkness? In everything we do as God is in front there should be a light warming our souls and being magnified to others. If you were to look in the mirror of God today what would you see? I pray that you will find substance in your actions that is driven by love in depths that never quit until the day we go home. For without Life what do we really have?

Honor Within Body…

Within the body of Christ there should be Honor being shown not only in the house of God but through every single individual. For the commandments say to Honor thy Father in Heaven and it says to Honor our elders. When we give Honor to one another then we are displaying our Honor in whom we serve and as the Lord teaches us when we dishonor one another then this plainly shows that we are not serving God.

By showing Honor within the body this develops a chain of life that comes full circle. For when we Honor our heritage then we are displaying the love within our heart. Without Honor within our homes and within the body of believers this develops a disconnect which in turn places us into the wilderness until we see the light. It is not our place to bow to man but it is our place to love others as we desire to be loved.

Honor first starts within us for the life that we have been given and whom we serve. For without Honor there is simply no care for the gift that we have been given nor self discipline within the body…

Discover Who You Are…

Over the years many have debated the law of Moses verses the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. There should be no debate over this topic due to God’s Word instructs us to seek His righteousness and peace in all things. Jesus teaches us if we truly love thy Father then we will want to obey His commands. Here is where many individuals miss out on the road to Heaven.

By applying Gods Word to our life through the love of Jesus Christ we should experience a daily transformation, from who we once were to who we have been set out to be. In 1 John 2:5 we find the word “perfected” which means to be growing daily in the Word and in Jeremiah 29:13 which paralells Matthew 7:7 we learn to seek and we shall find.

If you were to look at you spiritual walk today would you find yourself sitting on the curb or would you be able to say that you know that the Hand of God is carrying you forward? If you are sitting on the sideline may I encourage you this morning to drink from the well that never runs dry and go the extra mile to learn something new…
