Do Not Covet…

August 25, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

In Matthew 20 we learn a valuable lesson between the landowner and the workers. Throughout the day the land owner went into town and hired others to join his workers in the field. When the time came to pay the workers for their daily wages the landowner paid the same wages to the ones that worked an hour compared to the ones that worked all day. The interesting part of this message is the order from which the landowner called the workers and that all workers received the same pay.

Within this lesson we can find a test to insure that sin does not creep in and the Lord is teaching us to not focus on anyone else but ourselves. It is very easy to allow jealousy to enter into our spirit and when we allow this it only opens the door for Satan to rob us of the blessings that we have at hand. This parable in Matthew 20 parallels the lesson with the prodigal sons brother who became jealous when his brother returned.

Rather than the workers getting angry and jealous of the new workers that were hired the Lord is teaching us to be thankful for what we have and appreciative for the new help at hand. Can you imagine the next day in the field between the old workers and the new? How do you think they felt that day when the landowner went out again and hired new workers that made the new from yesterday old? Can you see a reciprocating lesson that Jesus is teaching to you and me?

In other words we are to focus on ourselves and not covet another in thanksgiving for what we have. Can you imagine the spirit within the workers working together in unity if they all understood this message?

Earth Quakes In The House…

August 24, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

For several years now these messages have been a shout into the wilderness for those that have lost their Way to come back home. There is no question that judgment is at our feet here in America for our national sin and the longer America neglects the facts the more shaken it will become. Why is that we tend to wait until something drastic happens before we Wake Up to recognize the Truth? How hard do we have to be shaken before this nation wakes from its sleep?

Had you rather someone wake you with a gentle whisper of love or does it take an earth quake to get you to listen? The object in life is to learn how to recognize the gentle whisper of God to guide our direction in obedience to His Word and when we neglect this fact is when further discipline is sure to come. How long Lord must the people remain asleep before they return to you? How far must America fall before they realize that you Lord are the only One that can pick them up? Have we simply just gone too far as Sodom and Gomorrah in the national sin? If so, please Lord protect the righteous as you did with Abraham’s family for your children to stand again.

Don’t be naive to the facts within the season that we are in here in America and lets pray that God will raise up leaders that are willing to truly clean the house that has become so dirty. In addition don’t over look the responsibility that each one of us have to maintain the portions that we have been given. For what good is it if we sit around pointing at the dirt in someone else’s home when we have things hidden within our own?

Heart Of A Child…

August 23, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever thought in depth of what Jesus meant when He said to the disciples,”Anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it?” As we grow older and become more set in our ways we often fall into judgment not applying the Word of God to our thoughts and actions. Another dangerous area that we can fall into is our dependency upon what the world has to offer instead of simply being dependent upon God.

Jesus does not ask us to put aside our experiences but He does require a change of attitude. For children do not feel supremely powerful or perfectly righteous. These are adult fantasies. Coming to Jesus means to accept His goodness on our behalf with a confession of our need and with a commitment to His tender guidance that shows us the Way…

Are You Ready To Live?

August 22, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

If the Lord was to call you home in this very moment of reading this message would you honestly be ready to go? Or, would there be some last minute things to take care of before you could part? Would you be torn in your decision to depart due to some others that could be left behind?

We never know the day nor the hour that God may call us home and with this being said it would be wise to be ready with no unspoken words to those you love. Learning to live day by day teaches us how to make the most out each day without any regretts and it teaches us to appreciate  the time we have before it is time to go.

May I strongly encourage you this morning to look into the mirror of God to insure that there is nothing holding you back and to insure that you are ready to go. For if we never learn how to die in the flesh then we never learn how to live in the spirit…

Jesus tells us in Luke 17:33 “If you cling to your life , you will lose it and if you let your life go you will save it.”

A Home Built In Love…

August 19, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

In order to build a home and for our homes to stand it is vital that we understand what holds it all together. For a home that is not built on the principles of God and upon a solid foundation is a home that is destined to fall. What is it that holds us all together? Have you ever considered where we would be without the love of Jesus who set us free? Have you ever thought about how empty our lives would be without the love of God holding us all together and giving us the strength to stand?

Within every word and action we make they should be driven out of the nails of love. For a nail that is driven outside of love is a nail that will never hold and what good is a home if we never learn how to build or stand? I challenge you this morning to examine your words and actions to see whom they serve in order to insure that your home is being built on a solid foundation with rooms to help others along the Way…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
