1 John 2:9 ” He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness until now.” Are you easily frustrated by the inevitable shortcomings of others? Are you a prisoner of bitterness or regret? If so, perhaps you need a refresher course in the art of forgiveness . If there exist even one person, dead or alive, whom you have not forgiven (and that includes yourself) follow God’s commandments and His Will for your life by forgiving that person today.
Remember that bitterness,anger, and regret are not of part of God’s plan for your life but Forgiveness is. Think about it; Doing an injury puts you below your enemy; Revenging makes you equal with him; Forgiving sets you above the enemy!

The art of forgiveness is what sets us free…

Are You In Spiritual Slavery?

Have y0u ever thought about the different spiritual strongholds of Satan that place us in a form of bondage to rob us of the freedom that we can experience in the love of Jesus Christ? Think about it; Is there something in your life that is holding you back? Due to the lack of proper teaching in the Word of God and our country drifting away from the Truth it is easy to fall into spiritual slavery that allows Satan to rob us of our purpose and our joy in life.

Many people in the church and outside the church are walking in physical freedom here in America but little do they know how they are in spiritual bondage because they do not understand the overall objective in this life. Jesus did not only come here to save us but He came here to teach us that there is much more to life than what we physically think that we see. This life is is to serve God’s purpose and to decide the direction which we take from Heaven or Hell. I challenge you today to look DEEEEP within yourself and ask God to point out something in your life that could be holding you back. Once you recognize this whether in greed, anger, jealously, unforgiveness, pride, lust, deceit and the list goes on and on the next step is asking God to help you remove these strongholds through the love of Jesus in order to be set free…amen

So many times we allow Satan to have victory because we forget who is in control…

The Shift / Starring Dr. Wayne Dyer

This movie gives confirmation to those that are seeking to work within the will of God and experience the spiritual realm within this world. Through different circumstances and day to day issues The Shift points the viewers to looking beyond their immediate selfish desires in order to see the purpose that Jesus taught in serving others. One of the hardest parts of life is learning how to let go of our own self or ego as Dr. Dyer describes and allowing God to bring things together in His timing instead of trying to achieve our goals on our own.
There is a crucial part which Dr. Dyer does not speak on in this particular movie and that is how to maintain our walk in this life by recognizing our spiritual opponent. This requires having the spiritual discernment between good and evil that is taught in the Holy Bible to help us stay within the will of God without falling to our opponent. It is easy to be deceived when we do not know how to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and allow our emotions to guide our actions.
Many people have discovered this spiritual realm here on Earth and taught the principles in learning to focus and listen to reach this awesome part of life. This is what God tells us in Psalm 46:10 “Be Still and Know That I Am GOD.” Different levels of spirituality have been achieved in different beliefs but without Jesus we never experience the complete spiritual break through that takes place when we receive our understanding in the Word of God. This is the key that opens the door to a whole new level with no limits into Heaven above. For why would Jesus say,”May your Kingdom come on Earth as it is Heaven?”
Learning a spiritual walk is an awesome experience that requires focus and self discipline but why limit our spiritual journey when there is much more to be explored with Jesus leading the Way…

Spiritual Maturity

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to allow something or someone to negatively impact our day? We all face different types of ups and downs from time to time but the closer that we walk with Jesus and take our eyes off of the physical side to recognize the spiritual side in this life helps us to overcome the situation. Rather than getting upset with the way things may seem to be heading learn how to bring Jesus into the picture in prayer and then trust God to for the Victory in the overall situation.

It is impertive to recognize that all Satan wants spiritually is for us to either engage or lose heart in discouragement. When we spiritually mature to this recognition is when we learn the art of being as wise as a serpent but as gentle as a dove. The Lord does not tell us that all things are possible for nothing. If you recall He said that all things are possible if we believe. I challenge you this morning to open your eyes beyond what you see and learn how to recognize the driving force that is in the situation. Then act in the love of Jesus and allow God to bring you through…amen

Are You Feeling Weighted Down?

Everyday we are faced with decisions that affect not only ourselves but the future of our children. In these decisions when we do know how to trust in God we often act in our emotions and open the door to Satan to spiritually misguide us into something that we never wanted in return. In the forefront of every thought it is wise to stay in prayer with God to insure the steps that we take for our children’s future.

Spiritually Satan likes to weight us down in the pressures of this world because he knows that when we don’t know how to trust in God that we are destined to fall. The world is full of pressure and it is easy to see how many are falling in because of the lack of trust in God and placing it in man. I challenge you today if you feel pressured to commit yourself in prayer and allow God to give you the direction that you need to succeed…amen

The weights are always heavy when we are trying to carry them on our own…
