Our society over the past 40 years here in America has really lost sight of how God is the Creator and giver of everything that we have. Can you imagine what the world would say to King David today if He were to run for President? Can you imagine what the world would say today to one of the disciples that stepped forward to preach God’s Word?
Do you think that the world would tell any of these men that they were not qualified due to their lack of degrees on the wall? What would the world have to say about these men if there was a background check to insure who they are? How far have we drifted away from God and placed our security in the world instead of recognizing the spirit of God that gives us our direction?
There is a parallel to the time today here in America to the time of the Pharisees in Israel that Jesus spoke of in the New Testament. They were so blind due to the physical requirements of man that they missed the hand of God that was right before them. This morning I leave you with this question upon your heart,”Are you looking for God in the spiritual eye or are looking at the physical and totally missing the spiritual?”
There is no human logic with God that can comprehend who gives and takes away. It is not our place to understand but it is our place to follow…amen
