Make A Difference With God

Our life is a journey that is full of trials and tribulations no matter where we are. Too often we fall into the darkness of this world because we allow our environment or our circumstances to hold us back and rob us of the joy that has been given through the blood of Jesus Christ. As long as we have life then we have a job to do and all we have to do is the work that it takes to get the job done.

There is only one way to make a positive difference in life and this is to simply do the work that it takes to make something better. Just because the task may seem impossible or too difficult does not mean to ever give up! Because in our hands we are limited but when we learn to rely on God is when all things are possible!

I challenge you today and every other day to never lose hope and think that you can’t make a positive difference! If you will commit to God and be willing to do the work that needs to be done then He will grow you stronger and help you to discover your purpose in life through the love of Jesus Christ. If you make something better for your children then you will be making something better for mine and if I make something better for my children then I should be making something better for yours.

Life is not only about us and don’t fall into this trap! All it takes is a little positive step forward to make a difference for our children’s future…amen

Learn To Fly When Grounded

There are times in life that we may stumble and other times that we may fall. But during our fall as a child of God we are caught by His hand that keeps us in a certain place for a while to serve a purpose in where we land.

During this place, where we temporarily land, we might not be where we want to be and sometimes we even stay longer than expected. There is always a reason in being grounded in order to learn something that needs to be learned and to help us mature for what may be ahead in the future.

If you can’t understand why you are in the place that you are or why you are going through what you may be going through then seek God to discover the purpose in where you have temporarily landed. Where we land is only for a little while and it is our job to make the most out of where we are before we take off again….Amen

Stay In Tune With God…

When is the last time that you honestly stopped to listen without any type of distractions or allowing the world to make you feel pressed for time? Did you know that it takes time to unwind after we have been wound up so tight? It is very easy to become deaf and blind in todays society due to the way our world is pushing us to keep up but if we don’t take the time to listen then our lives could simply lose touch in the love that we have been given.

Keeping our lives in balance is vital in order to maintain what God has given and to stay in tune. Have you ever noticed how everything in God’s creation has a pattern and how it works together to continue the forward motion? The Lord gives us instruction everyday but the real question is,”Are we obeying what we hear?”

Are You Listening For God?

In order to receive the direction of God it is imperative that we learn how to clear our minds and allow our hearts to be open to receive the direction that He gives. The Lord guides us daily through the Holy Spirit but so many times we allow our flesh to over rule the guidance of God due to what we see and feel. Satan is very clever and he deceives us on the outside because we often fail to listen and follow what we know on the inside.

Have you ever made a decision that came back to bite you because you did not follow what God had placed in your spirit? Have you ever made a decision because you allowed Satan to develop something in your mind that was later revealed to (not) be true? Learning to walk in this life with the Lord requires us knowing His Word upon our hearts and developing our senses between good and evil. But if we are not willing to stop then how we will we ever learn how to listen?

Listening As A Child

It is very easy in life to get so caught up in our own world that we can’t hear or even see what is before us. Satan wants to cloud our vision and to restrict our hearing to the point that we become stuck in the fog rather than learning to trust in God to guide us through. Jesus tells us in Mark 10:15, “Assuredly, I say to you , whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

The Lord teaches us throughout the Holy Bible to stay humble as a child and to be wise in our steps as we mature. There is a big difference between a child and an adult. For a young child is alert to their surroundings and listens to everything around them while the adults often become restricted in life because they fail to think that they already know it all or they just don’t have the time to listen.

In the Word of God we are taught to test all things to scripture and to be alert. For we never know the day nor the hour of Christ return and wouldn’t it be sad to miss something that God has placed right before us to help us along the Way? I challenge you today to begin to listen as that child of God and be wise in your steps to not fall to deception. It is in our nature to follow what we see but if we don’t know how to truly listen then how do we truly show that we believe?
