Bullies Use Fear To Feed Their Weakness

December 18, 2010 by admin 3 Comments

Have you ever stood at the edge of a pond that was frozen and left one foot on solid ground while placing your other foot on the ice to test its strength? Once you felt the strength of the ice did you make a step of faith in lifting your other foot to stand on the frozen pond? Can you recall the uncertainties of stepping on the ice and the relief that was gained once you realized the ice was strong enough to hold you up?

Here is another interesting part of stepping into the unknown. Did you calculate the risk before you took the step? Were you certain of the steps that you took due to the wisdom that God had given you on how to walk on the ice? Could you tell when you had pushed it to the edge and it was time to not go any further while you waited on God to make the way to reach the other side?

Did you insure that someone you trusted was close by in case you needed a helping hand? Was there someone behind you in your walk on to the ice or were they to scared of the unknown so they just stood on the bank to watch you in case you were to fall? How far were you willing to go out on the ice even if you had to go alone? Were you willing to go all the Way to reach the other side? Or, did you lose hope and give up the first time you fell?

Now lets look at this in another light. If you saw a child abandoned on the frozen pond and being held captive in fear how far would you be willing to go to help rescue that child from their captivity? What if a bully was out on the ice pushing that weak child out further from safety and causing them to cry out to God to set them free? Would you be willing to risk your own life for the sake of another?

This is exactly what Jesus did for you and me. He went into the unknown and reached the other side in giving His life for ours. The captivity and spiritual bondage of Satan had to be broken from the bullies that were causing the water to freeze because they simply failed in how to believe. See spiritually Satan  does not want to see us skating on the ice and having fun in the freedom of Jesus Christ so he in turn works through others to hold us back in suppressing our joy. Jesus spoke against this to the Pharisees and to the world to deliver a message of spiritual freedom and the obedience that comes in true love.

When someone is being bullied or controlled by another individual due to evil spirits or selfish motives which are misguiding their actions, this is often due to their own insecurities and lack of knowledge between good and evil. This happens in every age of life from the young to the old due to the deceptive spirit of Satan that develops in power and in our sinful nature of trying to be the one in control. Popularity, prosperity and power that are driven by selfish ambitions or lets say by Satan are very dangerous spirits that can grow out of control as a child matures into an adult.

It never fails though in evil only prevailing for a short time before God sends His justice and for the good to overcome the bad. Look at Hitler or Saddam Hussein for instance in how their spiritual misguidance not only destroyed the lives of others but it eventually brought their own destruction back in return. This lesson was taught in Esther 7:10, “So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.”

Satan uses fear tactics through individuals who do not know how to trust in God to control an environment and through individuals who fail to realize that we are accountable for our words and actions. The spiritual deception that can develop in someone that does not understand what the Word of God teaches in obedience and self control is vulnerable to Satan simply because they do not realize that true love brings obedience in our homes, in our schools and in our nation.

For instance,  look at Kim Jong-il the leader of  North Korea and the fear that he places upon his own people and surrounding countries due to lack of seeking peace out of love verses maintaining his position out of fear. This is why it is so vital that we teach our children the self discipline and love that is taught in the Holy Bible to maintain our homes and our country. For without the discipline of God man can not handle power! The object is knowing when and when not.

This same lesson of spiritual misguidance by Satan that tries to suppress the children of God has been repeating itself since the beginning of time. Good will always overcome evil even though we might not be the ones to see it at the time. For the lessons learned in the disobedience to God help us to develop a better and stronger foundation for our children’s future.

If America does not Wake Up to these spiritual facts and return to God in repentance for our national sin then we should not be surprised in what is sure to come in the discipline of God. Discipline comes to make us stronger and to remind us of our dependancy on God and not on man. It is imperative in life to stop and listen maintain our balance before we stumble and fall.

Life is not that hard when we learn who is in control and how to follow as the Lord directs.

Communication Is Living Art

December 17, 2010 by admin 7 Comments

Have you ever watched an artist paint as they brought a blank piece of canvas to life? There is alot to learn from an artist that knows how to use the primary colors in mixing two different ones to receive another color in return which is used to bring their picture to life. Colors are used by artist to express their inner thoughts and their emotions. From an artist perspective, as colors blend together this is the same principle in learning to communicate with each other.

If you were to analyze the very words that come out of your mouth how would they be reflecting your inner thoughts and displaying your emotions? Would you find your conversations productive and blending with others without restrictions in adding something to God’s picture of life? Or, would you find that you are painting a picture alone with hard lines and dark words that miss the meaning in blending our words in love?

Learning to communicate in a loving spirit requires the primary principles of how to stand and then we learn how to add color through our words and actions that brings God’s picture to life. In God’s picture there is love that flows from the mountain tops to the valleys in living water. This living water is displayed from the waterfalls to the rivers and then to the springs.

The lakes are fed from the springs that come up from below and they are like mirrors reflecting what they see. There are green meadows, blue skies and alot of God’s children playing close by. The wildlife is at peace due to the harmony in the spirit while everything in life is experiencing unity through the love of Jesus Christ…

As you can see our words can paint pictures and display our inner thoughts when we learn to look at what colors are coming up from our well. I challenge you to look at the colors that you bring into life to insure that they are adding something good verses something that could be bad. For who wants to paint a painting all alone and miss the relationship that we can have with our Creator on the eternal throne?

May your words add color and warmth to this cold world for others to see how to properly believe….Amen

Look To God For He Is The Artist

December 16, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

As an adult teaching a child how to draw we often start them out by connecting the dots of a picture. In these first stages of a young child that does not know how to look beyond what they see it is our place as a parent to teach our children how to develop the image in their mind and then how to believe. Exercising our minds requires effort and discernment to figure out the picture that we have before us. Then once we see the picture it is our place to help God’s children do the same while we learn to add value between the lines.

Have you ever thought you saw one thing but then as you continued on you began to see something totally different than what you thought at first? Did you look back and recognize all the wasted energy and time that was spent in the picture that you tried to develop in your own mind? Too many times we allow our human nature or Satan to develop a wrong picture due to focusing on what we see and forgetting how God teaches us to look forward and how to believe.

Life can be very stimulating when we learn how to connect the dots through listening and applying God’s Word to what we hear and to what we see. Don’t get caught up in the spiritual confusion of human intellect that can cause someone to simply forget how to connect the dots in God’s living art. There is only one true artist in Heaven above and He is the Creator of this living picture in life. He paints with love through His Son Jesus Christ which touches our lives and fills our souls…Amen

Are You A Teacher Or A Dictator?

December 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Did you ever play connect the dots as a child? Did you find the game interesting as you began to see the picture come to life? Now that you are older have you ever helped a young child play the game in return? Wasn’t it exciting to see the child’s face come to life as the picture began to develop before their eyes? Why is it when we work with children that we allow them to figure out the picture for themselves but as we grow older we tend to become impatient and want show our own intellect in describing the picture for our self?

There is an art to teaching and delegating that can inspire others when we learn to sacrifice our self and place the dots in front of the student or employee which will motivate them to figure out the task at hand. Unfortunately many parents, teachers and employers never figure out the meaning of sacrifice and how to inspire growth in other individuals because they become too lazy in dictating instead of teaching.

Due to our lazy human nature or our busy schedules we often give the answers without taking the time to listen and explain for someone to receive them on their own. Spiritually Satan wants us to feel as if we don’t have the time when we really do. For when we take the time to serve others then we are serving God and He will supply us with the time that we need in return.

There is nothing more inspiring than to witness the excitement of someone else connecting the dots as they begin to look within themselves and allow God to develop their picture in life. For when we begin to see the picture that God has before us and recognize the value within the color that we can add is when we discover the inner springs of creativity which come from our Creator in Heaven above…amen

Work Together Without Resistance

December 14, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Recently, a friend shared a story with me about his two boys that were going to build a deck one afternoon. His son requested the help of his brother on the construction of the deck. The son that was building the deck at his home had studied the instructions from the Internet and relayed this information to the his brother before he arrived.

This task concerned the brother that was called to help because he had his own way of construction and did not want listen to the Internet instruction. In his love for his brother he agreed to help but along the way he called his father for some council. The father gave him some good advice in spiritual wisdom that helped his two sons not only accomplish the task in a timely manner but it kept them united in spirit without the spiritual resistance between them hindering the mission.

The fathers advice was simply this,”Just help your brother build his deck.”  That advice seems short but it is very wise because too many times we encounter spiritual resistance between one another because we get to busy trying to tell someone else how to achieve their goals. There are principles that have to be followed to accomplish any objective but each person might not travel the same road to reach their destination.

Here is the life lesson from this experience. Pay attention to what someone is asking to hear their needs and learn to work with them to achieve their goal. God gives each one of us individual objectives and it should be our goal to understand our position without trying to take over someone elses mission…Amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
