Maturing With God…

July 14, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

The seed of a child of God is something that develops over time and in due season. For a child that tries to rush the development of the seed risk some vital lessons which come in the maturity of the tree. Once we come to understanding of the purpose of time and learn to take things day by day there is an inner peace which soothes our soul.

The world wants us to use miracle grow and in our human nature we want to speed the process up due to our want it now attitude. Inner development with God is a fine line to follow which requires self discipline to maintain the focus in where we stand. Rather than running around and chasing the wind learn how to listen as you meditate on God’s Word. For there is nothing like a seed that learns to develop within God’s timing instead of our own…

One of the hardest things to ever do in this busy world is to simply be still and learn to listen….

Tapping The Well Of God…

July 13, 2011 by admin 1 Comment

Many people fall into the traps of traditions and they basically stop seeking a deeper understanding in the love of God due to the extra effort that is required and the growing pains that come with maturing of new wine. This is why so many different denominations have been birthed within Christianity but unfortunately many have put caps on the well for they don’t want their flock to surpass the shepherd.

Jacob addressed this same message in Genesis 29. For there were sheep thirsty and waiting at the well but due to the traditions and the extra effort required of the shepherds they were not willing to go the extra mile until they were challenged by Jacob to simply do what was right. Traditions can be good for God instructs us to establish certain days in order to recall our past and to give us appreciation for the future but if we are not careful traditions can trap us unless we are willing to seek the other side… For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed  and what tree can grow to its full potential when placing caps at the well??? Here is a song that will uplift you this morning Our God Is Greater have an awesome day!!!!

The Seeds Within…

July 12, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very wise to recognize that there are two seeds within us one being of God and another from Satan. The object is to know which one we are feeding. Jesus taught that it was not what we take in but what comes out that defiles us and if you were to analyze your actions what would you discover in the mirror of God?
Would you find your eyes wandering in places they should not be? Would you hear words of love coming up from your heart? Or, would you find that you are feeding that seed of doubt and disbelief because you have simply forgotten how to trust in God?
Our lives are like living plants that either become dormant due to the lack of nutrition or from being over fed. There is a balanced diet which requires self discipline to maintain and once we come to understanding of the seed which we feed is when God will help us to succeed….

Maturing With God…

July 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

In Matthew 13 Jesus tells us a parrable about the mustard seed. He is describing the Kingdom of God and how it starts out within each of us to the smallest degree. As we water the seed of God that is within us with the Living Water of Gods Word this allows the seed to take roots and to begin to grow. Over time the seed will begin to grow into a tree within us that others will begin to see and discover a peace that only comes when we learn to stand with God.

The awesome part about this parrable that Jesus gave is that this seed of God never stops growing. For a tree that is planted with God and receives its nutrients from the true source is a tree that is healthy and strong while planting seeds for others to carry on….

Honor Brings Appreciation…

July 8, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

For a person to have honor they first must have it within themselves. Without showing honor for the life that we have been given and displaying appreciation from where we have been this opens the door for a life of carelessness and little meaning. Honor is a reciprocating action that not only learns how to give but it knows how to receive. For where would the receiver be without the giver and where would the giver be without the receiver???

Giving and receiving shows honor to our Father in Heaven and He teaches us this principle throughout His Word. Learning to live within the Kingdom of God first starts at the core and then as we grow in His understanding then our lives will begin to mature over time. By showing honor and humility in everything we do this shows in whom we serve. Without honor our homes and lives are full of chaos which spreads to the next generation. If you were to look at your life today in the mirror of God how would you recognize God in your life? Is there honor in your home or has the evil one robbed you of something that you would like to see return? Always, remember it first starts with you and then as you learn to stand in love with the Lord is when He will begin to bring things back to you…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
