I just want to say that I truly believe that God is moving in men of God to make preparations for what is to come. I honestly feel that this book has a message for all of those sincere men and women who want to be more than just pew sitters and really want to be on the front lines of the spiritual battle. I was reading the book Special Delivery and had drifted off to sleep when I suddenly woke up, I looked down at the book and noticed that a lot of the words were written in red, much like the words of Christ in the Bible. I started to read with more passion than before and it seemed that God was ministering to me to get ready for what is to come and it seemed to take on more of an importance than ever before. Just wanted to say that you have influenced my life like nobody ever has through the book Special Delivery. Sólo quería decir que han influido en mi vida como nunca nadie tiene a través del libro Special Delivery. I realize that God is working in your life and also working through you…I thank Him and praise Him for that. Me doy cuenta de que Dios está obrando en su vida y de trabajo a través de ti ... le doy gracias y alabanza a Dios por eso.

I told Nickie Roberts yesterday that you and I share a special bond and because of that YOU have been a special delivery to me in my life. I know and believe that giving my life to the Lord was only the first step what I do from here on out will determine my fate. This is a copy of a letter that was written to me on August 31,2008 after I returned home from the federal prison camp that is a testimony but also a heartfelt cry. Esta es una copia de una carta que me escribió en agosto 31,2008 después de mi regreso a casa desde la prisión federal que es un testimonio sino también un grito del corazón. I deserved my punishment but this man Jim did not deserve what he ultimately received. Me merecía el castigo de este hombre, pero Jim no merecía lo que en última instancia recibió. It is my heartfelt prayer that this letter will strike a match in someone that can help not only this individual find some closure on the loss of her husband but even place some attention on those who simply just are not doing their job and neglecting others. Lee and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the time that the two of you shared with us.  It was so kind of you to help us to try and come to some kind of closure with what happened to Jim that last day that he was alive. Lee y yo quiero agradecer desde el fondo de nuestros corazones por el tiempo que los dos que ha compartido con nosotros. Fue muy amable de tu parte que nos ayude a tratar de llegar a algún tipo de cierre, con lo que ocurrió a Jim que duran día en que él estaba vivo.

Jay, we appreciate your friendship and help to Jim during this time, and yours and Cher's friendship to our family.  It has meant so much to have someone to talk with and now to know that we continue to have your support. Jay, le agradecemos su amistad y la ayuda a Jim durante este tiempo, y la tuya y la amistad de Cher a nuestra familia. As you could see when we saw you, that Lee and I are having a very hard time with our loss of Jim.  Jim was our rock and he was a great husband and father.  He loved people so much and wanted to help everyone.  He truly believed that everyone should have an opportunity to know God, take care of their family and have a home.  He loved people dearly.  It breaks my heart that he was done such an injustice and not given the health care that he needed.  No one should ever have to be denied medical care especially when they are in the care of the government;  after all this is the United States of America and that is what these campaigns are being run on even this very day.  Health Care For Everyone!  Ironic isn't it? Como usted puede ver cuándo te vimos, de que Lee y yo tenemos un tiempo muy duro con nuestra pérdida de Jim. Jim era nuestra roca y era un gran esposo y padre. Amaba mucho a la gente y quería ayudar a todos. El realmente cree que todos deben tener la oportunidad de conocer a Dios, cuidar de su familia y tener un hogar. Amaba a las personas muy caro. Me rompe el corazón que se ha hecho una injusticia y no recibían la atención médica que necesitaba. Jay, I forgot to ask you did you and Jim share anytime alone to visit after he returned?  Did he have a chance to tell you anything about being at that hospital and what they did while he was there?  You know we didn't get to talk with him that last time, after we finally found him, without three guards in the room with us.  We had no privacy to find out what they had done to him all of the time that we didn't know where he was.  I was hoping that maybe he shared something with you.  I also wanted to know if when you got to him if he said anything.  I can't stop thinking that he needed me and I couldn't be there.  My heart hurts so badly.  I look at our wedding pictures and know that I meant that I would love him and be there for him until death do us part and then I wasn't even allowed to be with him when he was so sick and needed me to take care of him. Jay, me olvidé de pedirle que usted y comparten Jim sólo para visitar en cualquier momento después de su regreso? ¿Tuvo la oportunidad de decir nada sobre el hecho de que el hospital y lo que hicieron mientras él estaba allí? Usted sabe que no recibió para hablar con él en que la última vez, después de que finalmente lo encontró, sin tres guardias en la habitación con nosotros. No tuvimos privacidad para averiguar lo que había hecho con él todo el tiempo que no sabíamos dónde estaba. Tenía la esperanza de que tal vez comparte algo con usted. También quería saber si al llegar a él si dijo algo. No puedo dejar de pensar que me necesitaba y yo no podía estar allí. Jay, I am so sorry that we have become a burden for you, but I truly believe that God has put you in Jim's life and ours to help us get through this.  I don't know how Jim could have made it through those days there if you had not been there to help him.  He truly appreciated your support and friendship. Jay, lo siento que nos hemos convertido en una carga para usted, pero realmente creo que Dios te ha puesto en la vida de Jim y el nuestro para ayudarnos a salir de esto. No sé cómo Jim podría haber hecho a través de aquellos días allí si no hubiera estado allí para ayudarlo. Él realmente aprecia su apoyo y amistad.

I believe that you and Cher are the people that can research, and want to help people that have make mistakes and have ended up in the system, but don't deserve to be mistreated and neglected.  I hope that you will continue to help the older people that are there and have no voice.  I think that God has given you tremendous strength to get through this issue in your lives. Creo que usted y Cher son las personas que pueden investigar, y queremos ayudar a la gente que tiene que cometer errores y han terminado en el sistema, pero no merecen ser maltratados y abandonados. Espero que seguirá ayudando a la las personas mayores que están allí y no tienen voz. Creo que Dios te ha dado una tremenda fuerza para superar este problema en sus vidas.

Jay, thank you for sharing the bible verses, prayers and the love that Jim had shared with you about Lee and myself.  I think our visit with you really helped Lee to know the kind of person that you are and it gave him great support.  This was very special for us and we feel that we will always have a bound with you, because you were the last person to see and touch Jim. Jay, gracias por compartir los versículos de la Biblia, las oraciones y el amor que Jim había compartido con usted acerca de Lee y yo. Creo que nuestra visita con que realmente ayudó a Lee para saber el tipo de persona que eres y que le dio un gran apoyo. Esto fue muy especial para nosotros y pensamos que siempre tendremos un salto con usted, porque usted fue la última persona para ver y tocar Jim.

I hope that all goes well with you these last few months.  Keep your faith in God and the love for your family and remember that I am praying for you each day and I h0pe that you will continue to stay strong. Please continue to pray for me and I hope that you will be able to stand by me as I continue to go through trying to put the pieces together and get some answers as to why Jim was neglected.  I have so many questions in my mind and I don't know if I will ever get them answered.  Did Jim say anything about his life with God that night, about me, about the children, his grandchildren or did he just stay silent and to himself?  Please try to remember anything that he talked about those last few hours after I talked to him on the phone at 4:30pm.  It is just very important to me to know what went on in his life that last night.  Who took him to the cubical?  Did anyone from the prison check on him, give him food and water, check his blood pressure and vital signs, offer to help him to the bathroom or anything?  He had just had a heart attack, attempted to put stints in and he had lost a lot of blood during that procedure, surgery and he was 69 years old.  He was so weak when I spoke with him on the phone, I can't believe that they didn't have an infirmary to put him in so that some medical person would be checking on him.  He was told when he was sent there it was because they had a better medical facility that the facility that was nearer to our home.  They knew that he had a heart condition when he was placed there and to my knowledge he was never seen by a cardiologist during the time that he was in Forrest City. Por favor, continúen orando por mí y espero que usted será capaz de soportar como me siguen pasando tratando de juntar las piezas y obtener algunas respuestas de por qué se descuidó Jim. Tengo tantas preguntas en mi mente y No sé si alguna vez se las respondan. Se acababa de tener un ataque al corazón, intentó poner en tandas y había perdido mucha sangre durante dicho procedimiento, la cirugía y tenía 69 años de edad. Estaba tan débil, cuando hablé con él por teléfono, no puedo creer que no habrá una enfermería para ponerlo en la que una persona médica sería la comprobación sobre él. Se le dijo que cuando fue enviado allí era porque tenían un mejor servicio médico que la instalación que estaba más cerca de nuestra casa. Sabían que tenía un problema cardíaco cuando fue colocado y que yo sepa, nunca fue visto por un cardiólogo durante el tiempo que estuvo en Forrest City.

Jay, I am sure that you are having a hard time with this and I am so sorry that you had to go through that night, but I am so thankful that God allowed you to be with Jim. Jay, estoy seguro de que usted está teniendo dificultades con esto, y lo siento mucho que usted tuvo que pasar por esa noche, pero estoy tan agradecida de que Dios le ha permitido estar con Jim.
