Matthew 6:19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
The Heart Of A Child…
Have you ever considered why children can see things more clearly than adults? As adults we allow judgement and our hearts to harden due to sin in our lives or for wrongs that have been done to us. We allow our own human intellect to enter the picture and this restricts the vessels due to the effort of thought without learning how to follow God’s instruction in letting it go.
See a child does not judge but they use their senses to discern between good and evil. Their hearts are open with their vessels full of life while simply recognizing the love that is being shown by the adults. As a child of God matures we are to keep our hearts open with understanding while learning to mature in the Word of God to discern between what is of God and what is not.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:3,”And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” The warning to us is this,”Always be open with understanding and without judgement. For if we allow our hearts to be hardened then we are restricting the life that is given through the true love of Jesus Christ.”

The Roots Of The Heart…
It is very wise to know the words that you speak and the roots of where they come from. For if you are not willing to examine the roots of your heart then that means something is still standing in the way. Until we learn to be transparent in the Word of God and be completely honest with ourselves then we can be restricting the blessings of God that can come on earth as it is in Heaven.
Too many times due to our own distrust of God we allow the serpent to rob the seeds that are planted. Like a chicken snake that sneaks in to rob the eggs from the coup so does Satan sneak into the house of God to rob someone of the young that is being born. They due this through deception, lies, disbelief, jealously, anger, and simply due to their own lack of a relationship with God. Why would someone do this you may ask? The reason is simple, since they don’t have God they don’t want someone else to have Him either!
Many times people don’t even know how Satan is spiritually using them to restrict another and this is where we all must open ourselves up to the Word of God to be real in order to prevent the snake bites from within the body. Satan does not want us to have unity because of the power that comes in one spirit. Until we learn how to face the snakes in love and shake the snakes that have bitten we will only continue to miss the boat to the other side.
This message does not only apply spiritually to the family of God but it stands true in our homes, our work and in our nation. It is my prayer that we all learn to stand with God in the love of Jesus to maintain the freedom and security that He provides…amen

The Angel That Dropped In
It was the night before Christmas and all through the house the family was struggling and broken due to some issues that were as small as a mouse. The tree was decorated with lights that flickered all around but unfortunately due to the severed families some children were missing and very few children were gathered around. Hearts were hurting in disguise while some children simply hid their inner cries due to the lack of unity in the family of God. The home was barely full with strife in the air due to the busy schedules and the children that were scattered everywhere.
As the children began to cry out from their hearts for those that were lost to come home all of a sudden an Angel dropped in and began to sing a beautiful song. On this Holy Night that Jesus was born the Angel began to tell them how their hearts can be healed from where they had been scorned. The Angel said that God so loved the world that He sent His Firstborn so that the family of God will no longer be splintered or torn. As the Angels sang in the spirit of God the childrens tears of pain turned to tears of joy that fell like rain.
When the elders heard the children’s cries they stopped in to see what was taken place and then all of a sudden the Angel showed them His face. There were no questions asked or doubts of speculation in what was taking place in Gods mercy and unfailing grace. As they all began to look for their children at the foot of the tree they were amazed at what they saw because the children had replaced the tree with a cross. The adults were so taken at this sight in the childrens unity that they knew better than to ask what was wrong because they knew the children were right.
“It was time that we learned from our past in putting aside our differences for the family to be restored,” the Angel spoke. Then all of a sudden as the people began to come together in God’s unconditional love more Angels began appear relieving the people of their fears because they knew God was near. There was a sweet melody that could be heard from the house in the spirit of God that reached the streets during that Silent Night which restored the treasures of the love within the heart of the home.
These gifts which were received were not gifts that grew old because everyone began to realize their purpose in life through the love of Jesus Christ. We all have miracle moments and praises from big to small and it is our place to always try to share them all. For we are all equal at the foot of the cross and God so loves each one of us that He sent His Only Son to keep us from being lost.
As the night came to a close for a new day to begin the family went to bed with a new sense of peace between their family and friends. They knew their home was safe and secure because of their salvation in Jesus Christ and they praised God for simply sending His Angel that dropped in….Amen

How Deep Is Your Love?
Have you ever stepped on a frozen body of water and played on it as a child? Do you recall the sounds of the ice cracking as you applied more weight to the ice? Depending on the depth of the ice the sounds of the ice cracking can vary due to the amount of pressure that is applied. The object is when you are stepping on the ice to recognize the depth of the frozen water to insure just how far you can go. Because the further we travel on the ice in this world it can get thinner unless it is solid to the core.
This same principle is taught in the Word of God to help us fill our hearts with God’s love and to help us develop a solid foundation. For when we allow the love of Jesus to fill our hearts and soul, His love then spreads from the inside and should be reflecting on the outside. For instance the way we react shows the depth of our love and the trust that we place in the Lord. This is why some people crack when they hear the Truth and snap back out of spite instead of out of love and understanding.
So the next time you face something that is uncomfortable in your spirit learn when to apply pressure and when not to insure that you don’t fall into something that could take you under. This battle is not of flesh and blood it is between the spirits that guide us in our words and actions. Dealing with this world is like walking on ice and it is our place to teach in love with humility and strength in God’s Word…Amen
