When you really stop and listen to those all around us we can hear cries from their hearts in words and even see it in their actions. Our society has lost touch in not knowing how to express our heart because we have fallen by majority in feeling we are so busy that we have only so much time to give and this has caused us to lose touch in life. In the book of Psalms 46 verse 10 the Lord said, ” Be still and know that I am God.”
When we feel that we are too busy to stop and listen to what is all around us or to those that may be only needing some quality time then our relationships suffer because they become very shallow with no depth in understanding.
Out of all the treasures in this world there is no better treasure than a relationship that is right by God! Money can’t buy what God gives and if we here in America would refocus back on our relationships instead of the things of this world then this world would be a much better place…Amen

I think the world would not be in the financial crisis its in if more people turned to god and acted like true Christians instead of being greedy and more concerned about getting more money than treating others like they would themselves.

This is so true in what you have written and it is amazing at the relationship we gain everyday when we follow what God has given us in this wisdom of understanding.
This world is crying all around us but when we really stop, open our eyes and listen to the sounds of nature it is amazing in the what we can hear and even see.The Lord will give us our direction when we stop and truly listen. But far too often we neglect this discipline and forget whom is really in control and we look upon the physical for answers when this only carries us in circles. I praise God through Jesus Christ for my direction and peace He gives me in all my struggles in life because it is amazing at what we can gain when we truly learn how to turn it over and let it go….

Amen, Brother! I have found that when I don’t take time to slow down, God finds a way to get my attention. Also, as my relationship with God strengthens daily, other relationships greatly benefit. For those of you struggling with a relationship, remember that you can’t control others’ actions. You only control your own thoughts, actions, self-control, or lack thereof. I found that feeding myself daily with God’s Word put me on the right track and gave me strength when I wasn’t sure how I could keep going. Getting things right with God first has helped put everything else into perspective. There are still so many things I can’t control, but now I understand I’m not here to control situations. I am here to love others as Christ has loved me.
